Boulder Boulder!
Summer is here!!! As an official celebration, I joined my friends in running/walking the 10K BoulderBoulder race on Memorial Day.
Meagan (co-4th-grade-teacher) me and Liz (bestie friend) getting pinned up and ready to go:
Running! It's fun to see the signs along the way!
The Boulder Boulder has lots of fun stops along the way for those of us who didn't take it too seriously :) Here's Gwen doing the slip-n-slide!
Liz and I making 7.5k! Woo hoo!!
Gwen taking a Marshmallow Break!! :)
Running into the stadium packed with like 50,000 people - gave me goosebumps!!
Finish line with my girls - Gwen, me, and Liz. (Meagan decided she wanted to run faster than us... we found her in the stands and had our snack while we watched the pros run!)
GREAT DAY!! HAPPY SUMMER!!!!

SNOW DAY!!
Ok, I'm aware I haven't posted in forever... it's been a busy year, and while nothing is (or has been) really specifically wrong, I think I post more when I'm happiest. That being said: What a great day!!
Today was suppose to be a professional development day at school (i.e. no students, just a bunch of meetings that aren't really ever that useful). When the weather forecast started predicting serious snowfall, we were all crossing fingers and toes, wearing pjs inside out, and every other superstitious snow praying that we could think of. Someone out there heard us because school was called off Thursday evening. This meant a morning of sleeping in (ahhh...) an afternoon of sledding:

(more pics on facebook here)
And an evening with friends in the climbing gym. Thank you friends, dogs, and especially the snow... for a fantastic day!
